Imagine. A field of white roses by day and a galaxy of glowing lights in the midst of the night. That’s what you will see in 10,000 Roses Cafe in Barangay Day-as, Cordova located at the end of the Cordova Tourism Center. A place perfect for date nights and wedding proposals.
Owned by Miguel Cho, this field of white LED roses glows at night and left visitors mesmerized and surely will be your next favorite place. The cafe opened last February 6, 2017, to the public and grand re-opened on Valentine’s day. The place is always filled with locals and tourist especially at night.
If you want to avoid the flood of people, you might want to visit the cafe during daytime or earlier than 6 PM. In that way, you can take your pictures and selfies minus the crowd. Do not forget to bring your umbrella because there is no shade that can protect you from the sun. The cafe has a wonderful view of the sunset.
These white artificial LED roses is a sight to behold and is a replica of Dongdaenum 20,000 roses. The owner wants the local Cebuanos to experience what it’s like to be in Dongdaenum Design Plaza in Korea. The cafe offers varieties of food and drinks for their visitors. The cafe has a roof deck for you to enjoy the view of the sea, the view of Cebu City, and a full view of the roses for photographers who wants to take a picture and doesn’t want to be part of the crowd.
An environmental fee of Php 20.00 will be collected. This is part of the LGU’s way to control the traffic and visitors. When the cafe soft opened, the crowd is uncontrollable. They left trashes in the sea and cut and bent some of the artificial roses.
How to get to 10,000 Roses Cafe?
