We’ve been to Forest Camp for more than a hundred times since I was a kid everytime we visit my Lola’s hometown. As the family enjoyed our short getaway, we decided to visit Valencia’s Pulang Bato Falls for a change.
Pulang Bato Falls is just one of those beauties that you can enjoy if you are in Dumaguete. Located in the sleepy and quiet town of Valencia, it enchants visitors with its exquisite crimson color. It is just about 45 minutes or so away from Dumaguete City.
Getting there was a bit of an adventure for us since we went there a week after a storm. As we expected, the roads to Pulang Bato was a bit bumpy since the river overflowed during the storm. What frightened me was when we crossed the small bridge entering Pulang Bato. Anyways, that was just me being the scaredy cat. We were able to get there safe and sound nonetheless.
