March 9, 2017 By ChayaJane 4 Comments

Sirao Flower Farm has been making noise in the social media since 2015 from people who visited the Celosia Farm. The farm is located in the mountain barangay of Cebu which is Sirao.

The main produce of the flower farm is the Celosia flower. The flower’s bloom can last for up to 10 weeks and is also called “wool flowers or cockscombs”. This specific flower looks like burning fire when in full bloom and planted next to each other, thus, the name Celosia which is a Greek term that means burning. The flowers come in different colors that make it more attractive to the eyes.

How to get to Sirao Flower Farm?

If you are commuting, you can either take a jeepney or a taxi cab to J.Y. Square Mall in Lahug. You can take a taxi directly to Sirao Flower Farm but expect the fare to be high. So to save, from J.Y. Square Mall, you can hire a habal-habal (local term for a motorcycle for hire). The habal-habal driver will take you directly to Sirao Flower Farm for Php 400.00 roundtrip and for 2 persons already. The driver may ask you for additional waiting fee of Php100.00 to Php 200.00 per hour depending on your haggling talent :). The ride will take 30-45 minutes to get there.

Going there in your own vehicle can save you from the hassle of transferring between vehicles and can save you from spending for the fare. Your landmark would be Ayala Heights, take a right turn to Sirao Flower Farm.

Other Fee:

Entrance Fee Php 25.00

      Hi there Mherry!

I am sorry to hear that you were having problems with the habal-habal that you hired.
Aside from that, I hope you had fun with your visit.

      Best Regards,
      ChayaJane 🙂

Hi! We followed your advice in riding the habal habal and seems very affordable and convenient instead of riding the taxi which is very costly.
