Are you a fan of those juicy beef patties, blanketed with fresh tomato and a cheek of lettuce, stuck between two buns? I was not until I tasted one that clings to my taste buds. I recently discovered a place that serves good burgers at a very affordable price.
One-way Burger opened last year. This humble burger joint is located in Barangay Basak, Genaral Aviation Road, Lapu-Lapu City, just along the road near St. Augustine’s International School and Vista Bella. You won’t notice it since there are no signage in the area. Your landmark would be the motorshop beside the joint. I have been passing the area a lot of times but I never noticed the place until a friend recommended it when I was looking for a good affordable burger. The joint opens at 2PM and closes at 10PM.
Out of curiosity, I went there with my nephew. Indeed, their burger is delicious yet affordable. The burger price ranges from Php 65.00 – Php 85.00. My nephew and I ordered the One Way Burger. It’s a double patty burger with tomato, lettuce, and cheese (who doesn’t love TLC?). It’s far from the burgers of Zark’s or Casa Verde’s but as for me, it is more than worth its price.
My nephew is not that ecstatic about burgers but he was satisfied and happy with One Way Burger’s.
One-Way Burger’s Menu
One Way Burger Php 70.00
One Way Burger Jr. Php 45.00
One Way Smoked Ham Burger Php 85.00
One Way Hawaiian Burger Php 65.00
One Way Fries Php 39.00
Cheese Php 10.00
Egg Php 10.00
They even serve desserts like Leche Flan and Maja de Blanca. The Leche Flan costs Php 38.00 and the Maja de Blanca is Php 39.00.
While writing this, I was thinking what is the reason behind the name. Then I realized, maybe because the street where they are located is a one way traffic. That is just my guess though. hehe.
So, if you want humble eats, try One Way Burger!
